I’ve been studying history since I was eleven. After completing my BA in Social Sciences (Jan. 2007) I realized that the language of scholarship was incapable of expressing what I wanted to say. Only fiction would do, I decided. So I earned my MA in Literature and Writing (Sept. 2010). My focus was Gay and Irish literatures. Little did I know that the formal study of Literature is more convoluted and deadly to the examination of truth than perhaps any other discipline. So now I simply write.
My interests in writing and study are fairly broad, though there are certain things I find myself returning to more than others. These include: Religion, myth, history, the Gay experience, coming of age themes, Ireland/the Irish, the occult, ethics, Romanticism, metaphysics and Anarchism. First and foremost I am concerned with the Individual and what it means to be an Individual. I struggle to be authentic. I daily fall short. Writing is a process, towards, towards, towards.
